What's Happening at the Library?

Kentucky Residents

Due to changes in the Indiana Code,

the Tell City - Perry County Public Library

will no longer be able to loan materials to Kentucky residents past September 1, 2010.

For many years Tell City-Perry County Public Library has had reciprocal agreements with several Kentucky counties, but the Indiana law no longer recognizes those agreements. 

Kentucky residents are still free to use our library (use computers, attend programs, and use the research facilities), but we are no longer able to loan out materials to out-of-state residents. 

The only exception is out-of-state residents who own land in the Tell City - Perry County Library district.  The library will immediately halt the issuance of cards to Kentucky residents.
